By placing an order with Declarations by Beyond The Aisle (BTA), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase. These terms are designed to ensure a transparent and smooth experience for every customer we serve.
1. Order Accuracy
By submitting your order, you confirm that you have selected the correct item, size, and quantity. Please review our Sizing Guide before purchasing, as our adult apparel is unisex and may run larger than traditional women’s sizing.
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and email address at checkout. If a delivery issue arises due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for details on reshipping terms.
If you need to modify your order after it has been placed, contact us immediately at hello@declarationsbybta.com. Changes requested during active fulfillment may delay your order and cannot always be accommodated.
2. Made-to-Order Production
All items are made to order. Your piece is created specifically for you after your order is placed.
Standard fulfillment takes 5 to 10 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed after 5 PM EST or on weekends begin processing the next business day.
If processing is expected to take longer than usual due to high order volume or other operational factors, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
3. Shipping and Delivery
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details on processing times, shipping options, and tracking. All shipping is domestic within the United States only.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. After your order has been handed off to the carrier, Declarations by BTA is not responsible for carrier delays, packages lost in transit, or packages marked as delivered but not received. If your package is not received after delivery is confirmed, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
All sales are final. Because every item is made to order specifically for you, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or store credit except in cases of damage, defect, or mislabeling.
If your item arrives damaged, mislabeled, or defective, contact us within 3 days of receiving your order at hello@declarationsbybta.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will provide a free replacement including return shipping where the claim is approved.
To be eligible for a replacement the following conditions must be met:
The issue must be reported within 3 days of your confirmed delivery date.
The original Declarations by BTA hangtag must still be attached to the item.
Clear photos of the defect or damage must be provided at the time of your request.
Items that show signs of wear, washing, or alteration will not be eligible for replacement regardless of the reported issue.
Size exchanges are not available. Please review our Sizing Guide carefully before placing your order. By completing your purchase you confirm that you have selected the correct size.
5. Customer Acknowledgment
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review our Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy, and Sizing Guide, and that you agree to be bound by the terms contained in each.
You acknowledge that carrier delays, losses, and delivery failures are outside the control of Declarations by BTA and that your recourse in those situations is with the carrier directly.
You acknowledge that made-to-order items cannot be canceled, modified, or exchanged after the 24-hour cancellation window has passed.
6. Our Right to Cancel
Declarations by BTA reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion. In the event that we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method and notification by email explaining the reason where possible.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from a transaction with Declarations by BTA shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
8. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
